Diamonte on Bell formerly Bell Lakes Apartments

My trouble with this complex started before I even moved in. I arranged for an apartment months in advance since I was moving in from out of state. On two occasions I called up to find out they had given my apartment to someone else after I had already signed a lease on the apartment. Thank god I had questions regarding my lease or I would have driven close to 2000 miles in a 17ft long Uhaul full to the ceiling to find out I had no place to put its contents. I arrived to an apartment that hadn??t been cleaned, repaired or painted since the previous tenant. The towel racks were torn off the walls, the refrigerator was full of mold, none of the appliances worked and the ceiling had water damage. I was given the attitude of ??what the hell do you want us to about it?? by the leasing agents. The towel racks were repaired by me, the fridge was cleaned by me, the appliances were repaired by me and the ceiling was a long battle.
I moved in during monsoon season so of course the ceiling started leaking which the leasing agents did nothing about. I guess since it only rains a few times a year they wouldn??t have to deal with it. So months go by without rain, but the first time it does rain it floods my downstairs neighbor??s apartment and my ceiling begins to cave in. 3 weeks later the complex gets someone up on the roof and 3 weeks after that the complex gets someone to repair my ceiling. After the ceiling is ripped out, it is obvious to me and the repairman that the roof is still in need of repair. The repairman (he was hired from the outside) took it upon himself to complain to apartment management knowing full well he??d be back to fix it the next time it rained. Maybe he got through to them because I made it through this monsoon season without incident.
I have seen other reviews talking about hot water issues. Well if you think a day or two is bad try going eight months without a hot shower. Half the time I had no hot water at all, the other half I couldn??t get hot water in the shower. I guess there must be a valve that transfers the water from the bathtub faucet to the shower head and the valve only worked on the cold water side. I got very familiar with talking baths or boiling water on the stove so I could take a bath. The complex would turn my water off completely on average every two weeks claiming they were fixing the problem. Like I already said it took them eight months to find the problem and that wasn??t until they hired people from outside their own maintenance team. And they still till this day turn off my water claiming they are fixing the hot water situation.
This review is starting to run long so I will just get to some highlights. My downstairs neighbor had termites yet my apartment was never sprayed to make sure they hadn??t migrated upstairs. My bath tub drained into my downstairs neighbor??s apartment. Most of the lighting in the parking lot didn??t work for months. The gates haven??t worked in almost a year it seems like. And when they claimed they had fixed them, they stayed in the closed position not letting anyone in or out. The overnight security team hangs out in front of the office all-night. Three cars that I know of that park near me were broken in to or stolen. That??s not counting the dozens of times I have seen evidence of thievery like broken glass in the parking lot. My truck was broken in to, but nothing was stolen. Thankfully the person who broke into my truck knew how without breaking anything. This is all within view of were the security likes to hang out all night. I guess they were probably look outs for their car thief friends. Your packages will be stolen or lost by the office staff. They like to claim UPS made a mistake leaving a sticker on my door. They like to claim it??s not their signature on the delivery confirmation. When they do find your ??lost?? package they just return it to sender instead of fessing up to the fact they had it the whole time. They office staff are rude, unprofessional, stupid, etc?? They will park in your spot, the future resident spots or the fire lanes. The maintenance team will not fix anything or answer the emergency repair line. They will park their golf carts anywhere they damn well please. Bell Lake employees seem to forget these are people??s homes and that they need to respect our homes. I don??t park my Chevy in their yards, hold loud conversations with co-workers and leave cigarette butts on their door steps. They will up your rent by hundreds of dollars with out any improvements. Wow, they painted, but if you paint a turd its still a turd. The pools are not cleaned or maintained. The sprinklers leak constantly. The non-working fountains are breeding grounds for insects. The dumpsters are overflowing. You get the idea, don??t move here.

Good comeback...who wants to guess that SKM87 is either the owner or works for Hell Lakes (now Diamonte on Bell)... later it will be "???". In your defense, at least you know you don't have one. But "your a turd" works in a pinch....ha ha
