When I first moved here 2 years ago, I loved it, Now with-in the last six months I can See this place fall quickly apart. Yes they redid the outside of the apts. but do we live outside. On the west side of the complex there is absolutly no lighting, so if you have to walk in off the 33rd ave side, bring protection-- it is scary you can not see where you are going at night it is to dark. The lights around the second pool and playground do not exist If you need hot water for a shower, plan on waiting for at least 10 minutes so it can get luke warm. If you need emergency repairs like no water (which happens a lot) dishwasher won't drain gagbge disposil won,t work-- you get the drift. plan on waiting quite a while-at least two weeks to get someone to even look at it. Don't bother to call the office they will not call you back. Just call Oakwood 310 478 1021 maybe you can get things moving there, after all it is worth a shot to call corporate Good luck

The best note on my door from the office after several days without water was; fill a bucket from the ponds to flush your toilet or bring your bucket to an empty apartment that has water.
