This apartment complex is not the worst that I've lived in, BUT there were a few key factors that I was extremely disappointed in and would therefore never recommend it to anyone.

1. Whereas the majority of the apartment staff were nice and friendly, there was one girl that was extremely condescending and the few times I had to lodge a complaint with her, she treated me as I was automatically in the wrong. . . even when every time I was proven to have been in the right.

2. When living in an apartment where I have to pay for water, I would expect to have HOT water; but each apartment shares a water heater, so if the other apartments have already used up the hot water, you are out of luck. I did find out, once, that if you got up and took a shower at 3am, you would have hot water, but other than that one time, me, nor my kids, ever got to take a hot bath or shower.

3. They have playgrounds here, which is good. . . but they also have about 100 stray cats running around which use the sand in the playgrounds for their litter box. Unfortunately this was not cleaned up on a regular basis so I did not ever feel comfortable taking my kids there for fear that they would catch something from all of the cat poop.

4. They told me when I moved in that the security gates were temporarily out of order, but that they were to be "fixed shortly". In the six months that I lived here they were not fixed. When in the office paying rent one time, this was brought up with a couple other tenants who were waiting and one lady said she was told the same thing, and in the three years that she had lived here they had never worked.

So aside from most of the office staff and maintenance being friendly, and most of my neighbors being ok to live around, I value safety, cleanliness and hot water Way too much to continue living here. . . if those things don't really matter to you, then you would probably be ok with this complex. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

The gates have not been up since I moved in too. I moved in March of 08 and can not wait to leave!!

I was there for over a year and the gates were never fixed! If you rented from them with the promise of a "gate community" and are looking to get out of your lease? I'd use that as a form of breach of contract.
