In the past year the El Cortez Management has changed atleast three times. It is full of roaches and meth heads, while they are tryin to fix the place up it hasnt changed. If you want to live in a place full of mental unstable tendents, drug users, and feel like the roaches are your roommate then Cortez is for you!

El Cortez has changed management once since July 2008 to present. I am a resident and have never had roaches, but of course I am not from Apache Junction, and I can spell and properly spray on my own once every four months with one $5.99 bottle of insecticide. The tenants are diverse in age and background. Cinder block walls provide no noise from neighbors. The parking is well lit, and cleaned always. Controlled access for this price is great.

A level 2 sex offender just moved into this building. The notice from the police just arrived in today's mail. Hope those that live there don't have little kids! His crime was molesting a 6 and a 10 year old (both female) when he was 16, so he only did 5 years. Now he's 21 and out on probation. I am uncomfortable enough just passing by that place, now I will go further out of my way to avoid it. They rent to mainly druggies, felons and the mentally unstable. I've lived in this neighborhood for the past 12 years.

Well.....I would NEVER live there again...would live in my car before going back. BED BUGS!!!!!! Found out that at least 12 apts. were sprayed for bed bugs AND roaches. Nasty place to live!!!!

I LIVE HERE AT THE EL CORTEZ, AND I AGREE ABOUT THE ROACHES, THERE ARE A TON! I THINK I'VE SPENT MORE $ ON ROACH KILLING SUPPLIES FROM A TO Z SINCE I'VE LIVED HERE! I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ADD THE FACT THAT THERE ARE MICE (RATS) AND HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, PLUMBING PROBLEMS, AS WELL AS BLACK MOLD, MILDEW, AND IT'S SO BAD YOU CAN SMELL IT, ESPECIALLY ON THE OFFICE'S SIDE! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY LET A CHILD MOLESTER MOVE IN HERE, BUT THEN COME TO THINK OF IT HE LOOKS RELATED TO THE LITTLE NOSY SNITCH BTCH BOY MAINTIANANCE BOY I MEAN GUY! I'M LOOKING FURTHER INTO IT! MEANING I'M PLANNING ON TAKING THIS SITATION POSSIBLY TO COURT. EITHER TO SUE EL CORTEZ FOR BREECH OF CONTRACT, OR AT LEAST TO TRY AND GET THE PROBABLY RELATED CHILD MOLESTER OUT OF HERE! OH AND LASTLY WHY THE FCK DOES HE HAVE A LITTLE ANKLE BITER DOG? IS THAT ALLOWED? MAYBE IF YOUR RELATED! THEY JUST BETTER KEEP THERE NOSY ASSES OUT OF MY BIZ, MY UNCLE IS A VERY RESPECTED, AND VERY REPITABLE ATTORNEY, AND WOULD LOVE FOR ME TO GIVE HIM THE OKAY TO PERSUE THIS INTO ACTION!!!!!
