I signed a lease for one year and received a discount from rent.com and the first month free. The pool is clean, the hot tub is under a cute gazebo, there are "trails" along side the apartment buildings with decorative orange trees and barbeques, even another private gazebo in a garden-like setting. The rates are incredibly reasonable, my motorcycle is fine (one year, no break ins, no thefts INSIDE the gates) outside the gates is another story. For a three week stretch around July 4 '04 it seemed like everybody's car and truck windows were broken. Once I was woken in the middle of the night by a low flying police chopper and a megaphone, and only once did I find a roach in my apartment (which my cats promptly removed.) Overall, the noise level depends on what part of the complex you move into (don't rent by the laundry room- it's freakin noisy.) Aside from the one bug and the break-ins, I highly recommend this place. (Renee and Mary are fabulous.) One other thing- the transformers have blown about six times in the last two months. I'm moving because I need my alarm to go off in the morning consistently.
