I am guessing they are having trouble keeping up with the cheaper rentals in the area due to the mortgage mess, for bigger, nicer places because the caliber of people moving in as of spring 2008 s horrible. The apts are very old and small with no storage space. Even the bigger units are tiny compared to the newer complexes in the area. The grounds are pretty and the office staff is helpful and they allow pets. They do fix things fast but the quality of the work is either strange or maybe the items just can't be ficed due to the age. I am not sure why but I have had an abnormal amount of breakage in the apts, which is unusual fo rme. When I moved in strange things were done to the apt like painting over the vent shaft and a tub installed with a huge space left unspackled. Also, the cupboards were painted with the wrong paint causing all my glassware to stick. That's about it on the good unless you have family or work in the Dt area then the location is great.Everything else is negative. The after hours maintance man is a jerk. To be honest the biggest resident complaint is it is just so noisy, full of latch key kids, and the gate is left open, taking away from feelings of securty in a not so great neighborhood. Also the buildings are falling apart in some areas. If they enforced the rules a bit more and got tough,it would be better. A lot of non rule followers have moved in lately making a nice place to live and long term residents unhappy and moving out. The place is very noisy.Walls shake if you have bangy neighbors, no insulation and you can smell pot smoking neighbors and The pool rules are not enforced. Actually, the pool area is a joke. It is not supervised. It is open way to early and way to late at night. Many past residences had asked for the hours to be changed but the request haf fallen on deaf ears. Could be a great place to live if they had someone walking the grounds on weekends and fixed the falling apart buidings. Try elsewhere condos across the street are twice as big and half the rate.
