Where do I start' I've been living at Fountain Spring apts for almost a year come October. My original lease had ended At the end of April and they really suckered me into a new lease b/c like others have posted all they care abt is their money, which they don't even use to keep up the apts. I say they suckered me in, b/c I had given my 30 days notice and supposedly the corporate office did not receive it in time so On May first they told me I owed double rent or I had to sign a new lease since my lease ended on 4/31/08. I was so upset and could not afford double rent since I live on my own so I signed a new lease to get around that. On top of that, indeed it is infested w/ cats and roaches!!! There are many strays there especially black ones... Bad luck!! I know... Lol.. In addition, there is a high crime rate at these apts. There are many drug dealers and shootings. There are cops constantly in and out of the apts and homeless people wonder around the apts late at night. Being a female and living by myself has been scary there, but since I am from NY it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. There also has been many maintenance issues where my bathroom and bedroom ceiling would leak water whenever it rained, my bedroom window has been out of place for months so when wind blows the window shakes and makes a lot of noise. There are some outlets in the walls that are not secure. Also the kitchen light cover has fallen out of place numerous of times while I was cooking. And there is a roosten pen in a house that is outside my window and start crowing at 4 in the morning. Soooo any1 who is looking to move here, DON'T!!! P.S.you can't have any visitors b/c their car would get towed if not parked b4 the stop sign, no matter where ur apt is in complex and that parking runs out fast!! And you are lucky if the laundry room has working washers and dryers!!!

Can you write me on my personal email - upkoth@yahoo.com we use to live there and we sucussfully came out from the same trap from HQ saying they didnt received lease. Since you r from NY you need to know the law here and you may able to get out from there. Write me, i just live 10 mins from that apartment, we can talk and get you thru.
