not renewing lease

I've only been here for 4 months, and I liked this place when I first checked it out - it was recently remodeled, repainted, etc, and right across the mountain and golf course which I thought were nice for scenery. But when I first moved in, I had to jump through hoops to actually get the key, even after we agreed on an exact time I was to be there to pick it up. The first day, I saw dead roaches in the dishwasher, and some live ones. There were huge horribly patched holes in the wall and coat closet door. They made half-ass attempts of covering them with patches that were not even the same color as the paint. Our bathroom mirror has what appears to be spraypaint on 1/3 of it, it doesn't come off, and the mirror doesn't even open properly. The stove is a piece of ---- There's a huge gap between the side of the stove and the counter, and I have dropped 3 forks, a knife, change, and food down there and never got it back. There is one large burner on the stove and 3 small ones, and when I cook, one side of the pan will get burnt and the other side won't even cook. The storage room in the patio has a huge hole in the next to the water heater. That's probably how the first scorpion got in. Thankfully, he ran somewhere where we couldn't find him. The day after my move in, I saw tiny roaches running around in the kitchen. And not just 2 or 3, like 10 or 15. I called and had them come out and spray, and to be honest, after that I rarely ever saw any roaches. But there were still many other creatures living with me. I found a huge spider crawl out from the coat closet when I was vacuuming. I have no idea what kind it was but it's legs were really thick and I could see it's fangs. A few weeks later, the 2nd scorpion was found on the post next to my car. We killed that one. The 3rd was found crawling out from underneath MY BED while I was folding clothes. The 4th was found only a few days after that in the closet room with the washer and dryer, which I might add is a also a piece of ---- I've called and had them spray or dust or whatever they do, more than once, and it doesn't do anything, so I gave up calling. The staff at the office is rude. Either they have no idea what they're talking about, or they don't care what you're saying. I understand there are certain policies that they must go by, but if someone questions something, there is no need to act like a completly rude ----- No one once ever said to me, "I understand your frustration, but unfortunately we can't do that" or anything close to that, all I got was the "that's the way it is, if you don't like it, too bad" attitude.

It's not a horrible place to live, but the scorpions/other bugs and the rudeness of the management has made me decide to leave. Customer service makes a big difference and I hope the office realizes that someday.
