Disappointed and Disgruntled

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
When my fiance and I first came to visit Greenspoint, we were truly excited.
The staff seemed very friendly, the apartment is laid out beautifully.
Within two weeks of signing our lease, we realized that disappointment was on its way, and it was only getting worse.
We brought two cats into the apartment.
We were told, before signing our lease, that it would be $150 deposit altogether.
After signing, we were told it would be $300 instead.
Infuriated, my fiance eventually broke down and paid the $300, only to be told the next day that it WAS in fact $150, but that since we already paid, we couldn't get our other $150 back.
Also, we had watermarks all over our windows from the sprinklers, and a hornets nest on our patio.
We asked that both be removed, and they suggested that we wash the windows with 409, and knock the hornets nest off with a shoe.
We suggested that they get one of their maintenance people to do it.
When they said they would powerwash our apartment, we were very pleased.
But when we looked out to see them doing it, we realized that it was just a hose with high pressure water, coming from the same water source that caused our waterspots in the first place.
There are many issues that we've had with this complex, I assure you that there are better places in this area to look into.
