There's better places for the money

I lived here for about 7 months and experieced many of the same problems as other people. Water was shut off regularly, I'm guessing for the renovations. The pool was closed almost the entire time I lived there but when it was opened again, they had a pool party with food from Claim Jumpers so that was nice.
I accidently wrote a check that got returned, clearly my fault, but they did not tell me for two weeks and charged me late rent for every day of the two weeks plus a bounced check fee. Didn't seem very fair to me. The sliding door did not close properly so every time my roommate went to smoke it seemed like she was smoking inside my room, plus our electric bill was higher than I have ever paid. The maintenance man came a couple times to fix this but it was never resolved. Need new door probably.
One time we found ants coming from outside into our apartment. They were coming from a corner that did not have a door so I'm not sure how they got in. I guess cracks. Our apartment was always clean so this should not have been an issue but they came in and sprayed the place and the ants never returned.
The appliances worked fine and parking was usually not an issue except a couple times. Overall, I think the place is too expensive for what it is and the office staff is kinda snobby...I have no idea why.. I think you can find a better place to rent but it seems like every apartment has their issues.
