Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005

I will start off by saying, when we first moved there in Nov 2003 it was nice. We had no neighbors, no parking problems, and we loved it. Although we did have to pay a company 15 dollars a car to park there (I believe it was for a year) but then they got rid of the company and we were still out the 30 dollars. The problems started around the spring of 2004 when more people started moving in and the parking became impossible. There was someone ALWAYS in my spot. I often times would have to park far away and walk to my apartment June of 04 where there were a bunch of cars getting broke into (mine was one of them) and peoples license plates getting stollen from the cars. There was nothing done about it right away. However they did give me the option to rent me a garage at half price, which I had to it was much closer than any other parking spot I ever got. Than we started having problems with our neighbors, being loud, drinking outside of our apartment, having people over all hours of the night. They would constantly hit on me if I walked out the door. It was horrible! We complained for months before they did something about it. The only option given to us was to transfer to an apartment in the front of the complex (we were in the back) So we did. They told us they would pay our transfer fees for our utilities and they NEVER did! My husband had to take a few days off work because they only gave us 2 days to move (with a weeks notice) or we would have to pay rent for both apartments. We also had problems with baby scorpians, spiders and ants and I had pest control in there atleast 1-2 times a month. After we moved to the front apartment it was nicer, quieter, and we could get a full nights sleep. Parking still sucked of course! We still had our bug problem to.
Overall we lived there 2 years and unhappy the majority of the time. The location was very convienient though!
