Considering the Neighborhood and Price it's Not Bad, but...

I've lived at Indigo Palms for 4 months now. I read a lot of reviews about the grounds not being kept up, but I think they do a good job of picking up the trash, not that they should have to pick up after people, but sadly a lot of people do litter. The grass is really green and I think it's fairly park-like compared to the surrounding neighborhood. Considering the price, I think it's a nice place for the money. The apartments are good sized, fairly new, when I moved into mine, it had new carpet, new flooring, paint, etc.
Also, my experience with the office staff has been fine. I get a few packages from FedEx and UPS and they are always friendly when I pick them up. And once I called them to fix my bathroom sink at 5pm one afternoon. I expected it to take a few days, they had it fixed the next morning.
The only downside I don't like about the place is that I can't ever seem to enjoy the pools. Every time I try to use the pools there are too many screaming children. It seems like there are always one or two adults and 5 or 6 children. I have never seen so many large families living in apartments in my life. How can you live in an apartment and have 5 or 6 kids is beyond me. If I would have known there were so many noisy, screaming brats in this place I would not have moved in. But when I toured it was during the day, and no children were present. As a consequence, I will be moving the day my lease is up, even though I am otherwise happy with everything else.
It would be much nicer if they designated one pool for adults only, it would be so much more relaxing.
I am not suggesting this place is the Ritz Carlton, but you get what you pay for, and I think considering the very reasonable prices (at least I think they are, coming from a city where apartments are twice as much - Phoenix is a VERY affordable rental market), you can't expect 100% perfection.
Yet I am still planning on moving, because of the kids in the pool thing.
