Ripped Off and Lots of Car Thieves From: dwilliams257 Date posted: 4/26/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2006   MY CAR WAS BROKEN IN TWICE MY DAUGHTERS CAR TWICE. SEVERAL NEIGHBORS CARS WAS BROKENT IN ALSO TOO MANY GETTO APT SURROUNDING. THEY HOP OVER WALLS BREAK IN THEN HOP BACK NOT SAFE. I moved there 4 years ago and every thing was great with previous owners. They were sold to GREYSTAR who raised my rent $200 when my lease was up I was not in a position to move at that time so I signed a 6 month lease and when that lease was up they raised an additional $200. I gave them 60 day notice to move they said weeks later that I only gave 59 day notice. I told them Dec had 31 days and so did Jan they said it was ok. When I moved out we did a walk through with management and was told everything was fine. when it was time to send deposit back to me they deducted $130 stating that the apartment wasnt cleaned and I still owed for one day because I gave 59 day notice. Totally ripped me off. Apartment was very clean.
