Not as bad as what I've read...

To start with, we've been here a year now. The only problems that we've encountered are the parking problems (lack of open spots; people parking in our spot; which seems to have been resolved with a new policy on parking that allows for towing of cars in your spot and inside-window stickers for all leasees), and the back pool and hot-tub closed for a little while. No biggie. (We used the front pool and hot-tub.) The staff (Jane and Lea') have always been friendly and helpful, and the facilites (tanning bed and workout room) have always been in working order. Also, no bugs. Ever. Am I lucky' Perhaps. There have only been a couple of inspections, and they were always accompanied by one of the Maintenance guys (who by the way are friendly and helpful also). There is also an on-call/on-site security person who I have contacted (about parking issues in the past). The amount of speed bumps kinda sucks, but hey, nobody is speeding through the complex either. I've lived in much worse places.

Granted SOME of the problems have been fixed, and maybe you are just lucky... but compared to non-congested apartments in the northeast phoenix or scottsdale area...Do you think you are getting what you pay for at about $950/month for a 2bed 2 bath?

If I had to deal with what some of the alleged tenants have said they've had to put up with, then no, probably not. But I picked this complex for it's location (convenient to family members, shopping, and the freeways). Also, I priced out a number of locations in the NE PHX area, and also Scottsdale, and there is no way you can find a nice place with 2Br-2Ba for less than a $1000/mo. If I'm going to pay that much, I might as well have rented a house somewhere nearby for a little bit more. I compromised and decided to save some money instead. A few headaches to be sure, but nothing compared to what I've read. Luckyiguess.

Iv been here since 03 and personally have never had any MAJOR issues. One time Iv had to park outside the gate in the future resident space. However comming in after 10pm I still see available spaces normally even on weekends lately. Most of my neighbors are friendly. My area at least is pretty quiet or as can be expected. You will hear the foot steps of people above you and up and down the stairs though, even your neighbors shower. But thats a complaint at every complex right? paper walls.. Iv concidered moving but everything Iv seen are sooo small for the same or more than what I pay here. Rent did jump, I paid 630 when it was tuscany cove. They do alot of inspections like 3 so far this year I dont know how common that is elsewhere.
