after reading the eight or so negative reviews and accompaning comments, along with trusting my gut feel for some obvious things when I toured the building; I saw plenty of deferred maintenance, i.e. special assessments forthcoming and a pretty strict front desk person who was a bit uncooperative with my Realtor made me think that I would never really feel that I actually owned" my own apartment yet would be at the mercy of an uncaring HOA and Management Company. After reading these reviews I wondered why couldn't the place be "self-managed"' The 1-hour restriction on ground parking along with all those omnimous signs clearly tuend me off as well. I was looking forward to capturing some of the excitement of my youth when living in high-rises in Chaicago but my higher self tells me that this is not the place for me. I'll keep renting for now, at least I know where I stand....

check out Alta Phoenix Vista apartments downtown!!! I wanted the same thing, i was going to miss the city lights and skyline at night that you get with a highrise, plus all concrete, great for noise, just like landmark towers, but brand new! no roaches! no rotted pipes, no cooling problems, great COVERED parking for guests. I just love it! clean clean clean, new everything! i wish i could shout from the rooftops about it, cause i felt so trapped at landmark and this place is just awesome. I know i sound like an employee or something but i promise you i am not!! its just when you want the great feel of urban city highrise life and you have had the experience of landmark, alta phoenix lofts seems so refreshing. :)
