A Nice Place to Live if You Don't Mind the Noise

Mandarina is a rather small three-story community (about 180 units total) with only one swimming pool/spa and one BBQ grill through out the whole property. The office staff is friendly and is dedicated to providing superior customer satisfaction. Often they will host themed parties, dinners, and brunches for residents as a way to get to know your neighbors or as a "just because". The complex offers valet trash pick-up which can be very convenient but can get stinky if the residents leave their trash out overnight or on the wrong days. The fitness center can get crowded pretty quickly when more than 4 residents are working out at the same time. Parking is limited to one assigned parking space which means that if you have more than one vehicle, good luck finding an uncovered spot (especially during the evening)!
The neighborhood is nothing special, in fact, it's more of an industrial area. There is a Castle Boutique across the street as well as a topless bar along with other misc. businesses. One in particular will keep you up at night with it's sporadic security alarms going off in the middle of the night. Combine that with the excruciatingly loud horn of the very nearby train and you'll have dark circles under your eyes for days!
Unfortunately, the only type of high-speed internet available here is through Qwest and that's because the apts. are already pre-wired for it. But that will probably change once more apartment complexes are built along Washington St.
If you don't mind some small inconveniences and work or go to school nearby, then you'll probably enjoy living at Mandarina.
