This website should be called www.bitchaboutyourapt.com. I'm not sure but it seems like there is a trend developing on this website, every place is about 50% or lower with people complaining about the same things. I'm not 100% sure but I think everyone from my old community moved up here because its the same people complaining about the same things (no parking, loud neighbors, staff issues) I feel the need to fill every neighbor in on a little secret... you're living in a place with over 400 apartments. I think the people complaining on this site have moved in and lost all common sense. I actually read on this page, someone was complaining about the dumpster area being dirty (wow that's a weird concept, dirty garbage).

I'm not saying this place is absolutely perfect, but I've never been in an apartment here in Phoenix that has been. The staff here does get really busy sometimes but they are filling up a brand new community from scratch, seems normal to be busy. Yes my neighbors can be loud, but i'm sure they might say the same about me at points so I deal with it.

I personally like MonteVerde. The maintenance has been right on top of things. The office staff always seems to help me out with whatever I need. The guy in the office actually offered to help me try and find a job in Phoenix when I first moved out here. I have friends that don't do that. The pool is great (although sometimes loud at night because some of my neighbors must have forgotten about a little thing called sleep and respect. The area is what it is. I didn't have any crazy disillusioned thoughts about it when I moved in. Heads up to people whining about it, you're in the city of Phoenix. Unless you flew in to look at it with a helicopter, you obviously drove through the area (not that bad).

I'll get off my soapbox, but I was kind of annoyed reading all the reviews because my neighbors are making this community sound horrible, which it is definitely not that. One last piece of advice to anyone complaining on anyone of these sites....buy a house in the middle of nowhere, where no crimes ever exist, none of your neighbors have any pets, trash doesn't exist, acres of land to park on, and MOST IMPORTANTLY make sure you don't have to pay any rent because then you'll have no reason to ----- when things go wrong.
