I think the negative reviews are mostly centered around the lack of respect from neighbors, which is fair. Isn't that the point of this website, to describe to potential renters what type of residents you'll be living above/below/next to' Also, I read the review about the garbage, and I have to agree, it's nasty. There's a difference between a dirty garbage area which of course is normal, and a stinking pile of crap from all the bags thrown everywhere except in the actual dumpster itself. I don't think that reviewer was out of line. And parking is not a problem if people park in their own spaces. We are given one assigned covered space to use, and it's not too much to ask your neighbors to respect that. It may seem insignificant to you, but we have several handicapped and/or elderly folks in our building and their closer spaces are important. Plus, I get home late in the evening from work and guest spaces are pretty much non-existent after normal work hours, so when someone has seen fit to park wherever the heck they want to, it's a drag when they've taken your spot. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way because I see the tow-truck in here a couple times a day. There are positives here. Jeff in the office is really nice, and he seems genuinely concerned if you have issues. Plus maintenence is friendly and always working to keep the place looking nice. Noise during the weeknights is not too bad, it's weekends that can get bad. We're ok with the usual and customary noises that emenate from apartment complexes, it's the excessive noise after hours that is intolerable. Again, that goes back to respect, or lack of. The earlier reviewers were not out of line in regard to the noise levels. The noise here is not attributable to living in the city, it's due to rude people. There's a difference.
