Where do I start with this place' It used to be great, everything worked and it was easy living here. Now is another story.
Lets start with the management and staff. These people will tell you anything you want to hear and then never do a thing about your problem. They just lie out their teeth to shut you up and get you out of the office.
Take this for instance; when I signed my lease, they overviewed the parking situation and told me not to keep a car in the parking spot, or park in the same open parking for around two weeks or you run the risk of being towed. Well...as it would seem I have three cars and I try to stay within this happy medium of keeping the cars in rotation. So later on I get a green sticker on my car after around 6 days of my car being parked that says I have around 72 hours before I am towed, and no reason at all about why it would be towed. Mind you that this was in the evening, so the only option I have is to either take the sticker off, or drive around for three and a half hours to find a spot, and just end up park 6 miles down the road, utterly putting a sign on it saying "STEAL ME". No, I am not going to do this, as I have right to park there seeing as my car is a car that gets driven regularly and belongs to a current resident who pays to use the parking service that they offer. So I take the sticker off, making it blatenly obvious that the car is currently in use and is not vacant, then move it in the morning, or when I get off work. The next thing I know, in the morning, my car is gone. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they towed that sucker. Stupidly, I try to work it out with them that it was their mistake, and I will not waste my time fixing and paying for their mistake, and that they will recover the car and bring it back to the complex free of charge. Oh sure, they said they would call around and work everything out so this happens...then nothing. I try over and over, and they keep being friendly and seemingly helpful, but in all reality, they just keep telling me what I want to hear to get me out of the office that day.
As I understand contracts, if they are misrepresented upon signing by the ones presenting the contract, it is void (parking durations).
This place is like a telemarketing scam operation; legally they are in the right about everything, its just that eveything about them is not right.
Maybe in a civil court, something can be done, we'll see.
Anyways, this place is just one big corporate joke. Talking to these people is like talking to the upper management characters on Office Space.
If you move here, just park in the street and don't be too attached to you car.

Other than that, the whole place is cheap, and loud.
It is somewhat clean though, I see people out there every morning cleaning from the day before, but thats the only good thing about it.

P.S. Plumbing sucks.

Note: There are 36 registered sex offenders living here. Hide your children.

Please get over yourself.. They just dont go around trying to tow cars.. they have a contract with a tow company and they are the ones that are on property everyday.. so your car had to been parked in the same open spot for a very long time for the tow company to remember your car.. and they also gave you a warning... you failed to obey it... also Monte Verde does criminal back ground checks on all residents...you cant have a felony.. so how do you get that there are 36 sex offenders.. I dont think sooo...

lilmispris, you sound like someone who works there. There is a familiar stupidity in your posting. And how do you know they actually perform background checks on perspective tenants? Huh? Management companies tell you they do background checks because it sounds a whole lot better than saying, "I have no idea what kind of people live here!" Which is the actual truth. Sometime ago, I complained about a neighbor beating his girlfriend. When I told the office manager, she stated. "Well, that's strange. Everytime I see him, he is by himself." I asked the dizzy bytch what that had to do with him beating his girlfriend. She had no response. Trust me, grayclow talks more ---- than a rectum. Stay the fvck away from any proper they "pretend" to manage.
