Do Not Use the Drop Box

I used the drop box once...and they lost my pet deposit. There goes $350 down the drain.
After noticing that the NEW managment never recieved any conformation from the old managment that the pet deposit was paid, I try my hardest to talk it over with the new management and get the situation all taken care of. After a whole week of going to the office ever day and trying to talk to someone about it, they just keep using the computer system problem they are having as an excuse to shuffle me away for another 'schedualed' appointment to meet at a later date. After that happens for a week, I give them a couple weeks to, maybe, get what they need done in order to be able to discuss with me the problem, and then a 10 day eviction notice comes to me hand delivered. Yet again I go down to the office after they open to try to resolve the problem, once again, and the manager grabs a binder (YES, a binder, there wasn't anything she looked up on the computer) and prompty tells me that I must pay the deposit again.

After wasting my time like that, I refuse. This whole situation is just stupid, as with the apartment complex. Hopefully I can find a money order reciept that I made like 3 months ago.
I would suggest that no one should ever move into the rathole. The complex is over 2 years old, and its very easy to see why Greyclow pulled out and sold the complex, this place is going to hell very fast. All the equipment is failing now (yes, this includes air conditioning, in fact mine has failed twice in two weeks). Everyone is either breaking their lease and moving out, or moving out when their lease ends, I would bet that not even 10% of the people that are here will renew. So this means the new managment will become desperate in filling thier open apartments so they don't loose money. All of this will result in conditions of moving in lowered and soon we will see the quality of residents go down dramatically. I've seen the same thing happen to other apartments, take a look at Courtyard @24th, on 2323 E Flower st. Phoenix AZ 85016. Same story.

Oh and if you don't want unauthorized entry into your apartment, don't move here, management doesn't ask.

One good thing I have to say about this place, however, is the maintenance. Those guy are good at what they do. If it wasn't for their own concern, I doubt I would be with air condition to this day after it went out the first time two weeks ago.

A few notes about the bar graph describing the quality; Lighting has nothing to do with safty when we live in the ghetto and the management has laid off the security.

I have to agree with you on the fact that when I lived there 6 months ago for a 16 month lease, it was awful. Management was horrendous! And you're very correct in that they come into your apartment without notifying you. I had come home one day and found my closet totally messed up with everything thrown around the room, 50 dollars missing as well as a case with 20 CDs in it. They did take 350 dollars off my rent for the CDs and money, but still they go through your stuff! They're nosey people who have nothing better to do because no one wants to re-sign. My friend went there to move in and I was talking to them on the phone and they said they were on their way to sign their lease. I asked, where? And they told me MonteVerde and I told her the whole story and she got there and didn't sign. Gotta keep people away from that joint.

YES! We are breaking our lease as well! Noise, dogs, just the people in general (inconsiderate neighbors and lazy staff) are pushing us away. In fact, while moving, we noticed 3 other neighbors in the same building moving out! Take the hint and don't take any chances with this complex. Since the new company took over, it has been all downhill.

New update to the first review above: roommate. The whole problem was started by a deceitful action in which my roommate decided to thwart my peaceful living with.
The management was, however, ill-equipped to handle matters such as this at the beginning of their takeover. Things seem to be getting better over at the office now.
The situation still does not excuse the fact that I went in the office with a delightful additude amidst a bad situation, and was confronted with a malevolent prejudice. But I think the management is cooling down from how pissed they all were for having to move to Arizona.

Also, Michael's awesome, he does a really good job as the assist. manager.
