An Honest Opinion From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/7/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I have lived at Monte Verde since June 2007. I will say that I truly love my apartment and the complex. My apartment has had few flaws and everything has been fixed by maintanence very quickly. The grounds are usually very nice except when people abuse the pool and spa privledges. I have seen the pool shut down twice for cleanings when these instances occur, but again, the issue was addressed very quickly. The managment team has always been friendly and gone above and beyond to make me feel like I am at home. There is only one complaint I have and it is really between myself and the tenants around me. It appears only in one area of the complex that tenants leave their cigarette butts on the stairs and have some smelly apartments. If you move in here I would not recommend being near the front office with the gates, mailboxes, and pool it is a high traffic area and can be very noisey at times. On that note, the flooring between the 2 and 3rd floor seem very thin. I live on the 2nd floor and can hear my upstairs neighbors lull of their washer and dryer along with many other things. This is where my noise complaints came in, they are up all hours of the night banging and pounding. I want to make it known however that this is not a complex flaw, but a personal issue. The tenants above me are not respectful and if you receive a neighbor such as mine that appear to have the opposite schedule as me the noise at night could be a problem. With all of this said- I find it to be the absolute best place for the price and area. I am considering moving into a bigger unit after my marriage this summer in hopes the noise issue will be resolved.
