Good Apartment Complex With a Few Issues

I have been a resident at Monte Verde for 2 yrs. i love it here, however the area is not the best. If they could just take the property and move it North, East.. Well anyway I started out by living in a studio which was nice. I didn't have much problem except for the backed up toilet from the third floor down and came home to a bathroom full of sewer water but it was all fixed in a matter of 3 wks. They also brought in someone to clean my carpets after which I was happy with. I moved in to a two bedroom a year later with my roomy. The issues that I have with my apt now is that in my room (master bedroom) in the summer it is like a sauna. You want to loose weight just come and sit in my room gtyd weight loss. I had told maintenance and they said that it was where my room was located on the building. I spent the summer sweating my butt off. My roomy is super cool.... Then have had issues pretty much since we moved in a year ago with our dryer. Still not fixed. But I am not mad. The property is really nice as long as you stay with in the gates. Also the parking situation needs to be re-evaluated. I would have no assigned parking and do all spaces with covers or do away with the covers. Trying to find parking is a nightmare everyday. People who don't live in the complex park in your spot and don't expect them to move. I started putting notes on ppls cars stating please move your car or I will have it towed. I know sounds a little rude but not when your paying for the apartment and you have to walk a mile back to it. Believe me you would do it too.. Beautiful pool and jaccuzzi and nice fitness center. The staff is great... Love Michael.. Anyway this property is great even though I have had some issues. Needs some improvement but I would come back if I had too.

This reviewer is adorable. I actually want to move into the complex just to live near her. Many times, reviewers seem like spoiled brats who expect their complex to be some magical haven of nothing bad ever happening. Good to read an honest review, with the bad and good, and what outweighs what.
