I just moved into another apartment community down the street from Monteviejo. I moved due to a price increase on my renewal and thought that "all" apartments would be the same. The place I moved into is less expensive, and is worthless. Let me tell you a few things:
1. The staff at my new place is worthless, they are rude and it has been like pulling teeth for them to fix ANYTHING. I just moved in and my tub is still not draining (gross) :(
I have had things at my old place fixed within a day or two.
2. Let us talk about noise....I lived by the pool when I was at monteviejo. Was it loud' Sometimes...but at least they close the pool at midnight and want to make it quiet for you. This place- um...let us talk about disgusting and no sleep. I have to literally turn on my T.V. to not hear the people in the pool doing some very gross things. Does the staff care' Um...no. I have never been so poorly treated.
3. Parking. I had one person park in my spot at monteviejo and it was towed. My one complaint, they have no options on if you have more than two cars. Let me tell you a little secret though- EVERY apartment I have lived in has that issue and my new place I moved into is not only bad, but you have to call the office to tow a car. At 2:00a.m. who is in the office'
4 and last....I loved the amenities...and miss them soooo much. No parties at my new place, no breakfast, no ice cream parties, no newsletter, no happy staff, no towels in the fitness center, no free water.
I miss my old home, and have actually spoken to the office numerous times since I left. I am going to move back when my lease is up at this place.
