We are a military family of 4 living here at Monte Viejo. We have been here for 2yrs already and we do love this complex. Getting stationed here was hard because we didn't know the area but when we came across these apartments the area is very nice and once you step into the office and the apartments...WOW!!
The apartments are a little small and pricey but where else can you find such a nice contemporary place in a safe and convenient location' Each complex has it's own washer and dryer,and all the appliances you need for everyday use.I've never had a problem hearing my neighbors through my walls but normally the windows and sliding door bring in more sound with the window closed. The crickets are my only BIG complaint, but other than that talk about a beautiful place. When we moved in the staff was absolutely wonderful and I loved how they remembered my name and my familie's name. Everytime they saw us they always greeted us by our names. Every sunday they served a nice breakfast, they have Haagen Dazs Ice cream parties, and they would also do themed parties for the residents and would give out great prizes. They have a monthly newsletter that was delivered to your doorstep on the 1st and if a neighbor complained about something in your unit by the next day there was a flyer at everyones door. They always did their best to take care of the problem when it arised.
But after a year I did notice a change because little by little the original staff were leaving, until one day our last favorite office ladies left and new younger staff came in. Well they are still polite and caring but I have noticed a small change in the complex. Our newsletters have pretty much vanished, and you have to pick them up at the office but even then they are old copies of the previous month. Everywhere I go people with pets leave their pet dropping wherever. And sadly they dont do anymore resident holiday decorating contest.
My complaints aren't big ones just minor ones so you see living here has been great for us. The area has grown so much and with having the 101, costco,taco bell, and the coffee bean what more could you ask for''
I love it here and I would recommend it to anyone. It does get loud on the weekends and that could be a downfall but for anyone planning on moving here it is a complex that mostly rented by young adults, college students and older but hip adults. And your occasional grouch! So there is something for everyone... Especially the Coffee bar... LOVE IT!!!!
