i will just keep to the facts and not issue an opinion. since i have lived here my first apt was flooded by my neighbor.. twice. the previous management did move me to a new place and paid for the move. the property was sold and the terms of the sale was that occupancy had to stay at at least 95% for the sale to go thru. the previous managment had to "relax" their screening process of potention new residents to insure that the occupancy did not drop. you can then imagine how the demographics changed here.. and quickly. parties in the outdoor hallways then became the norm.. starting at 1am and continuing until dawn.. walking thru broken glass and garbage become the norm. i complained to the tenents,to management, to security and finally the police. it took approx 4 months to have these tenents evicted. during this time i lost sleep and had my car keyed and paintballed. (yes.. paintballed- large pink bullets of paint) police reports were filed etc.. but nothing came of it.. we have had numerous domestic issues which ended with the police handcuffing people and leaving with them.. most of time the people were not people that were actually on the apt lease. my neighbors (who were resently evicted) were not on the lease but they were living in the apt.. at one time there were 7 to 9 guys in that two bedroom apt.. they slept there in shifts. oh.. and less i forget there was the shooting incident in mid july.. in the childrens park behind building 25. i haven't heard that anyone was hurt.. also i just found out that one of my neighbors had their car broken into and had their seats stolen. i would imagine that that is something that would take quite some time to manage..yet security was not around..no witnesses. access to the complex is extremely easy (the gates are all but useless) people just park on beardsley and wait until someone leaves..it is not difficult since beardsley is a deadend street.
