I lived here 2years ago. I liked the floorplan so much but didn't like the company that ran it. I heard froma friend it had changed and for the best!! Well I just moved in and the improvements are amazing. They really want this to be a home and not just aplace they go to work everyday.They are putting all new fitness equipment in along with redoing pretty much the entire property.What I like most is you can go to the office and speak to them at anytime,they dont close for lunch and are never to busy to ask how you are. Those things are hard to find and I found it here. For the crime WELL do we live in Arizona where crime happens to be the highest in the US' Do you blame the mall when your car gets stolen there.NO I wouldnt be happy if I walked out to my car missing but I wouldnt blame Montelano for it, the police need to patrol the area not the office.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with the point about your car. I was sold a gated community. Statistics show that car theft is SIGNIFICANTLY lower in gated complexes. This apartment has told me the were "fixing" the gate for a year. I mean comon... If it's not gated just say so. They're lucky no one has reported them to an insurance company for fraud. And honestly, if you think the fitness equipment is improved you should walk a block to LA fitness.
