My boyfriend and I moved into Mountain Park Ranch in April of 2004 and stayed for 2 years until April of 2006. The apartments were nice. We had a scorpion twice, but it is almost to be expected when living by the desert. Maint. was very responsive. They were very nice and helpful whenever we needed them. Parking was TERRIBLE!!! You were lucky if you even got to park on the side that your apartment is on. When we moved out we had the biggest problem. We were going to stay for one month after our lease because we were renting a house with friends and their lease was not up for another month. We decided to just get the house earlier. I called the office and asked them if it was ok to change our minds and not do one more month. The person I spoke with said that it was ok and we went to the office and signed the papers for the move out. A few days later the manager called us and said that we needed to stay the last month because they rented out that apt. by our previous plan to stay 1 month after the lease. She said that they could not leave the apartment vacant. I told her everything that had happened and told her who I asked and told her that we signed the papers. She said that "the person made a mistake, but I guess we have to honor it." We knew that they would do anything to get that rent money out of us, so we cleaned the apartment as good as humanly possible. We had the carpets cleaned and spent 3 days doing the rest. Low and behold we got a bill including $450 to replace the carpet. I would recommend these apartments, but don't get on their bad side. Corporate Equity office did not help when we tried to dispute our charges. I would not recommend Equity. They have gone down hill and definitly nickel and dime you.

If you read all of the other apartment rating comments, it seems that all apartment complex's only give one assigned space and have limited parking in certain areas.

I am not a fan of Equity apartments; I had a horrible experience with them many years ago and they treated my mother horribly as well. They will nickle and dime you, if they can. Luckily, this did not happen to us. Needless to say, it is common knowledge that you have to give a 30 - 60 day notice. It is your responsibility if you didn't provide that.
