The complex is very nice as well as the staff in the office. Its a pretty and mostly peacful neighborhood. However, the parking situation is HORRIBLE! There is nowhere near enough uncovered parking if you arrive between 7pm and 3am. Sometimes people have to park in front of the garbage bins, in front of red zones, or in the grid next to disabled parking spaces. My roomate once circled the complex 3 times before giving up and parking in front of the garbage only to walk out the next morning to find some of the maintenance guys slapping a towing sticker on her window. She told them she lived here and that she parked there because there was NOWHERE else. The office is well aware of this problem, but I have not seen any kind of action being taken to fix it. Its irritating debating whether or not to go anywhere in the evening for fear that you wont have anywhere to park when you come home. On top of that, in the year we have lived here we have seen a total of 6 scorpions in our apartment. I have talked to neighbors who have also said they have been having scorpion problems as well. Like I said, its a nice place, but I have had enough and definently moving when the lease is up.

Yes, this is Arizona and we do live in the desert, keep in mind therefor we do get wierd bugs & scorpions sometimes. And if the office does offer free pest control services then that is your fault for not taking advantage of it. As far as parking goes, do you think that they or any complex can just magically build more parking spaces?... I personally do not think that parking here is a problem. I always park on the smaller side of the property where there is always lots of empty spaces. Where are you parking?
Any complex that you go to can have issues with parking, bugs, neighbors, and so forth.- I hope you are buying a house and not moving to another apartment complex, because if so you'll probabiliy have the same complaints again. I have rented at a couple apartment complex's in the area and i think that Mountain Park is the best so far with their interior & exterior looks, the maintenance guys and office staff are great & are always there to help, & most of all I do love the the big park and hiking trails that the property connects to. They are in a very nice and quiet location.

Just to clear this up, I was in no way expecting anyone to build more parking spaces. What could have been done was either discounts on rent, or maybe even more security guards to walk around so I would have felt safer walking the length of the complex alone at night. Or being compasionate enough NOT to tow your residents parked in unauthorized spots KNOWING they had nowhere else to park. Or, even more simple, a notice to the residents that the office is aware of a problem and an APOLOGY at the least!!!!! Its bad enough to leave your customers with an inconvenience but it makes it worse to just ignore the problem like there isnt one.
So I guess what youre trying to say to me is that by paying less I deserve the inconvenience . . ... And by that logic I am in no right to my opinion, and not allowed to complain on a website that was set up for just that reason . . . ...

You are correct about the smaller side. There is a ton of uncovered parking on the East side & due to that Residents do pay more to live on that side than they do on the West side. Therefor you are or must be paying less than what I pay. Anyhow, stop complaining about something that the complex can't help. People are always willing to put a place down before they will ever say anything good about it, that is just how the majority of the people are.

Security Guards??? Mountain Park does not have Security Guards, they are called "Courtesy Patrol", this person goes around the property several times during the night time to check things out, that's it! This person is not trained or certified to be a Securty Guard, and if Security Guards is what you want I can assure you, we (all residents)will be paying$$$$ for it, so be careful what you wish for, my friend!

Please remember property policies apply to EVERYONE, so WHY should they appologies to you?...the rules are very simple: You park in the fire lane....you will get towed...period. Take responsability and stop blaming things on others. Learn your lesson the first time.
