I sadly was only able to stay at these apartments for 8 months and had to relocate. The apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in. Any problems I had with the unit were fixed most times within 2 hours of me putting in a work order, even if it was for something minor (whoever knew there's a reset button on garbage disposals) they were still nice about it. I actually ended up knowing the maintenance people on a first name basis - not because they were always fixing problems, but because they were genuinely nice and easily found around the complex.
I felt very safe in the complex and will admit to leaving to get my mail or running a quick errand without even locking my door. The office staff is very helpful, and the manager of the complex even knew my dog by name (very pet friendly complex!). Also, most complexes advertise heated pools but are never really warm enough to swim in in the winter - the heated pools here were always super clean and heated to just the right temperature all year-round.
The only two issues I had with the complex are that you are only given one assigned parking space and if you have two cars you have to find parking elsewhere, which is sometimes difficult, but only once was there no space for me, but I was able to just park in front of the office so it wasn't a huge deal. Also, the trash cans are sunken into the ground - nice if you are short like me - but they are also smaller than traditional dumpsters and tend to be overfilled by the time the garbage truck comes.
One great perk, especially if you have kids, is that Sun Ray park is accessible by a walk-through gate at the complex, which has a nice jungle gym, sand volleyball, & tennis. Great feature for walking the dog or wearing the kids out.
