Where to begin with this apartment complex' No parking, ever. Scorpions everywhere and the office is willing to do nothing expect spray chemicals that the scorpions are immune to at this point. My girlfriend, who was pregnant, was stung many times. Our appliances malfunctioned the entire time causing us to have insanely high electricity bills. (For example, the air conditioner ran constantly no matter what temperature it was set at). The pool was often closed and the hot tub was rarely hot. They seemed to close for cleaning and other maintainence regularly even though it was not a 24 hour pool. Maintianence could easily have been done before or after open hours. Gates supposedly used for security were easily opened by pushing them open, creating a false sense of security. A woman was attacked in her home while I was a resident. Access to the park is nice but the gate is malfunctioning and hardly closes. A valve stop exploded one morning while I was getting ready for work. It flooded the apartment. The carpet company came and did a mediocre job at fixing it. After moving out I received a bill stating I owed them 325 dollars for carpet damage due to pets and frayed edges. I payed a pet deposit that apparently does not apply to help cover pet damages (which were minimal. They claimed there were urine stains everywhere but my cat has not ever pee'd on the carpet at any place I have ever lived. No apartment has ever reported urine stains upon my move-out. Mountain Park also informed me that they dyed the carpet instead of replacing carpet that had extensive water damage from being flooded. This obviously could cause a mold problem which they have chosen to ignore. When I first moved in my girlfriend and I got a family discount but when her relative lost his job due to a closing office in the state, we were not informed that we had 30 days to find a new place to live. We only found out when I walked in to the office regarding an unrelated issue and was promptly given a 20 day notice. This is not only unethical but illegal. If you are looking for an apartment complex that will make you feel like you are living in a hotel with scorpions, then you have found your new home.

It really just sounds like you are just upset about your bill and I honestly don't believe a lot of what you are saying. I've lived at Mountain Park for three years and I've never had an issues that you are saying. You're pregnant girlfriend really, honestly, got stung multiple times? About the woman being attacked, I heard that was never confirmed to actually have happened. And why are you complaining if you got a discount the whole time? Equity is a very big company so I highly doubt they did anything illegal. I bet if you never got a carpet bill, you would have never wrote a bad review.
