I lived in this complex for 2 years in 04-06 and let me tell you, I can not believe it only scored a 19% First off I still lived with my grandpa, I just turned 18. We had a few maintaince problems but my grandpa got along really well with the maintaince staff so they were very promt about it and fixed what had to be fixed. They were friendly and always said hello and chit chatted. Not to me though, I was just another kid to them. The office staff seemed OK. They weren't perticually rude but they didn't exactly jump on the problems at hand either. I've waited a long time in the lounge to talk to a staff member on several occasions. It looked fairly nice near the office with walkways and a fountain and lots of trees but everywhere else was very dry and and dusty looking. When my grandpa had a tripple bypass he could no longer handle the stairs so we asked to be moved downstairs and they accidently moved us into a newly remolded apt but didn't raise the rent because it was fault on their behalf. We got one free carpet cleaning a month which was nice. There weren't too many friendly neighbors. Everyone kind of kept to themselfs. The playground wasn't much to look at but it kept my daughter enterainted enough. There were always a bunch of young, loud people hanging around late at night which didn't bother me but my grandpa lost a lot of sleep. His car door was painted pink one time and I believe there was a man with a gun holding people up at the front gate once. I did enjoy my master bed and bath, not entirely huge but enough space to be comfy. The second bed doesn't have a walk in closet and is a lot smaller. We had washer and dryer hook ups which I absoutly loved. So all in all it was an ok place to live. Except in the end when we got a letter saying we had so many days to move out because they had converted our little apt to a condo and had already been sold...thanks guys, real nice. The price wasn't bad and the apt was just ok. Not the prettiest thing to look at. This was a few years ago so I have no idea what it's like now and I guess my grandpa just got along with everyone and made friends with staff so we didn't really have a problem...until they kicked us out. So in short it was cheap rent for an ok place to live.

WAS a cheap price. The rents they charge are in line with many of the NICE places. This place has a very low occupancy for a reason. As for the maintenance, well... it took arguing with management for 6 months to finally get a WORKING washing machine. As for upgraded apartments, we were told we would be getting one of those upgraded apt but instead they decided to give us the used stuff from the burned out building. You can still smell the smoke when you turn on the range hood vent. Like most others who survive here, we will NOT renew our lease.

Place is horrible. People do not have respect for other's property. They allow their kids to run wild and steal things off people's porch. People take others covered parking spot constantly.
The burned building still has not been completed after a bit over a year and they are passing it off to new tenants as "remodeled" and not stating that it had gone up in flames.
The gates still do not always work, they stick, and the remotes do not always seem to open the back gate like it should.
Kids are supposed to not play on sidewalks. They are supposed to play at the playground that is provided. Instead they are too busy being allowed to run people over on sidewalks while skating, biking, and skateboarding. They are not allowed to be doing this according to the letter the home owners association sent out. They have been allowed to throw rocks at the buildings, rip up the landscaping water hoses, and all without consequences.
People allow their dogs to poop wherever without picking it up. Of course they allow this in front of others places who OWN instead of rent. No respect at all.
Side gates are not to be left open. It is supposed to be a secure complex. It is not. The side gates (door gates)are always open and people roam the complex at 2am that do not belong here.
The buidling lights are not on as often as they are off at night. It is not a safe place. We have had people bang on our door late at night to be let in. People we do not know! We stick to ourselves here except for talking to a few close neighbors. We have had someone try to enter with a key stating he lived here. He did his best to hide his face from me when I confronted him through the window by the front door.
The pool has been shut down more often this summer than not. When it is open, it is not clean. The water is cloudy.
If management cared about keeping tenants, they would enforce the rules versus nit picking about what people have on their porches (which are not obstructing pathways). They would fix the problems with the lights, stop lying about the burned out building, and stop preying on people to buy condos. This place is not worth what they say it was appraised at. IT is definately not an investment.

I wrote this review and like I said it wasn't the best place to live. I live in another apt now and it's the same story...loud kids and dog poo everywhere. The side gate wont open and we have to walk around the building to use the front gate pad. We've complained about it and nothing is done. But like I said we never had maintance problems. Basically all the lower end apts are the same..same people, same problems.
