I lived here for 14 months because that was the only lease they made available to me where I could get a discount. I wanted the discount (1 free) month pro-rated however they took it off all at once. Not a huge deal but it would have been nicer paying less each month.


Besides ----, the staff sucks at Palazzo. They are all young and stupid girls. The maint. staff is good, and they understand the place was built cheap and can't do much about crappy shower pressure or the horrible fake tiles in the kitchen.

Overall the apartments are nice. The tandem garage is pointless and stupid. I would have rather had more room for the apartment than try and re-park cars every morning and night. The kitchen is the nicest thing in the place besides the tile. The cabinets are large and actually good quality. The stove and fridge is typical GE product that works fine. Washer and dryer are in unit but small.

Here is the thing to remember. You can't get Cox cable or Qwest cable. You can't get Cox internet. You can't evan get qwest DSL. What you get is DIRECTV which is fine. However Palazzo has an agreement with Qwest/DIRECTV to charge you for the service monthly instead of going directly through DIRECTV. That was total B.S. and I declined t0 pay the extra $5 for their pleasure. Have an HD TV' Too bad, you can't get HD service, the dishes are too old. Want Tivo' Have fun only using 1 tuner on the thing. What high speed internet' You will have to share a T1 line with everyone else in the community. The speeds are SLOW, and often go down. Granted this may have changed in the 8 months since I was last there.


I never ran into crime, however someone got busted 4 doors down by the Feds for dealing drugs, no joke. I came home one day from work and there were 10 un----ed SUV's and trucks with feds in them. I heard someone got murdered in one of the units before we moved in. I am sure it wasn't a random act but still. The ghetto is literally right behind the place. I heard gunshots on a nightly basis, I know what guns sound like BTW.

I heard my neighbors having sex multiple times. Hear their cabinets closing. Garage doors going up and down, but I get noise complaints for watching a football game!


Do yourself a favor and look into renting a private condo or house from a private owner if you need to rent. I am 2 miles up the road on Thomas and 44th in a nice condo complex paying the same amount for more room, and a way better community. Oh yeah, I can get high speed Cox internet again and HD service for my 56'' DLP!!!!


I forgot to mention ---- ------ tried charging me $1500 for a new carpet. Have fun going through my lawyer!
