Pigeon Disaster

The pigeon problem at The Palisades is out of control. Not only are the pigeons a disgusting lot, but the methods the management undertakes to "shoo" them away are lacking in cleanliness and effectiveness.
It took four days and four phone calls for management to clean up the bird poop that literally covered the sidewalk and parking lots.
Not only were my dog and I getting bird poop all over our shoes (and paws!), but the chemicals they used stick to the sidewalk, the dirt and track all over the place.
This wouldn't be quite so disgusting had we as residents been forwarned that there would be piles of falling bird mess and sticky glue all over the place.
The response to my concern and frustration when I mentioned that their glue had made a mess of my doormat..."we don't touch residents' personal property" and she hung up.
Note: had they cleaned it up originally, it would have blown away to a corner and been easy to dispose of. Nope. They waited until AFTER the rainstorm.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. I've lived all over the world and never had such an uncomfortable living experience.
