I lived in the large (829 sf) one bedroom from 11/05-05/06. I liked the location, and the apartment seemed very nice. There were a few problems that management never got corrected (i.e. microwave light), but nothing major. I have had friends living there over the years and always came there to play water volleyball every Sunday, which is a blast. My problem was with my downstairs neighbor. Apparently, the walls/floor are so thin that anytime I would get up at night to get a drink of water or use the restroom the floor would creak and the lady below would hear and begin to hit her ceiling over and over. She would then subsequently complain to management and I would receive a warning on my door. I began to stay at my boyfriend's house every night -- and here's my real gripe -- the lady below would continue to lodge complaints even when I WAS NOT IN THE APARTMENT!!! I explained to management that I could provide witnesses and proof that I was not in the unit on the dates and times that the woman was complaining (nor was anyone else), but they would hear nothing of it. She continued to complain, and eventually (thankfully at the end of my lease), they forced me to vacate the unit. I was never afforded the opportunity to prove my case, and this woman basically just complained until they forced me to leave. Not ONE other resident made any complaints about me, so basically if you want to get rid of someone just continue to make false accusations/complaints against them and they'll get booted, no appeals, nothing. I am glad not to be living there anymore and am initiating legal action against both that resident and the complex itself. Probably a waste of time, I know, but if I can at least waste a bunch of their time then it will have been almost worth it.

I also had that same problem with a downstairs neighbor complaining about his Goddamn ceiling squeaking everytime I walk. It was over at the Saddleback in Phoenix.
