Lived there for 1 yr and was infested by scorpions. I finally got action when I faxed a typed, formal letter to the office declaring I would expose the INFESTATION of scorpios and their lack of response. Looks nice, but don't move in!! Had the apt. professionally cleaned when i moved out and they only returned $168 of my deposit.

I lived at the Palisades for 2 months in 2004. I found 10 Scorpions IN my apartment within 2 weeks time. And that's only the ones I saw. If you take a black light or flash light out and shine it on the outside walls and floors you will be amazed at how many are crawling around. they are even on the palm trees. Don't even venture out onto the patio... I never saw such huge ones. I called Management and they pretty much told me the same crap I've read in many of the other reviews. Well let me tell you what I did next. I got the E-mail address and phone number of the owner and wrote telling them that if they did not release me from my lease and return all of my deposits including my Non refundable pet deposit I would bring a lawsuit upon them should my child who was medically fragile or anyone of us for that matter get stung. Well I was out of there within two months of moving in with all my monies returned.
