Glad to have left the place

I lived here for about two months in early summer '06 while my new house was under construction. It was one of the few places that would rent month-to-month in North Phoenix, so if that is a priority for you, then the Palisades would be a good option. I found the place to be very run-down, despite the fact that it's not really that old, and looks decent from the front. My apartment had filthy carpet, and like the other reviews here, I paid to have it cleaned when I moved in and paid again to have it cleaned when I moved out...which was a cruel joke. I think my apartment was infected with mold, as my family and I were sick the whole time we lived there but were healthy as soon as we left. Management had the nerve to come to my apartment and post an "urgent notice" on the door indicating we would be evicted if we did not immediately come to the office and pay the water bill for a couple days' before our billing started....the amount' 52 cents! This says it all about the management. I'm glad we were only there for a short while, but I would never recommend this property to anyone. There are way too many other, newer, nicer properties in the vicinity
