I have lived here for 2 years. The first year and half was fine, but they are now renting to the scum of the earth. My new neighbors moved in upstairs 2 months ago and I have never heard so much noise. My ceiling shakes, the walls shake, they slam cabinets, doors anything they can. I have complained to the managment but they are telling me it is my imagination. I was called a Liar by the manager. That did not go over well with me. I have since contacted the management company. Although I am moving out in 5 days, thank goodness, I still want something to be done. Do not rent here. The management sucks and they will do nothing for you. Oh there are also alot of scorpions. Beware! and the parking sucks!

I am the manager for the Palisades and the statement above is not true. The sad thing is that anytime someone is unhappy for any reason they love to enter ugly remarks on this site.We have 536 apartments here and have residents that have lived here for over 10years we must do something right.It is a shame that because we have such free speech on the internet that we can say things that just are not true just because we are mad! I agree that it is very had to please everyone when you have so many people and personalities but we strive to do the best we can. The person that wrote this was asked several times to come in and have a meeting with her neighbor and I,but would not shame on her!

Why would anyone lie about their neighbors slamming doors? I hear my neighbors all the time banging on things and slamming doors and cupboards. I don't complain about it because I know I will get absolutely nowhere with Sherry. Care to comment about the on going SCORPION problem?

palisadesmanager, I've dealt with people like you when I used to live in rental apartments. Slumlords like you never care about the safety or quality of life for your tenants. All you care about is collecting your rent check and that's it. You rent out your units to the lowest of lowlifes and subject your more responsible tenants to horrible living conditions. The fact that you called the now ex-tenant a liar says more about you than it does about her.

I live here and Love it!!! The property is beautiful and the office staff is wonderful. No matter where you go you will always have a couple of scum bags on the property. I have lived on the property for about 6 years and not once have I had a problem with SCORPIONS!!!!! I have dealt with the Sherry on several occasions and she has gone above and beyond the call of duty for me. I have lived in apartments for a long time and Sherry is the best Apartment Manager I have known!!!!

You know what's funny? I am that scum of the earth neighbor that lived above you before you made everyone in our building excited when that moving van pulled up. The part you forgot to mention that you never had any proof that I was doing anything you were accusing me of. I requested several times to have a meeting with you to settle these problems and you never once attempted to have one. But without knowing me personally you were able to go to the office and tell them that you were "afraid of what I would do to you if you knocked on my door". Nice move, way to make people think that I am a violent person. Now they'll be on your side huh? But the interesting thing is while you were making me out to be the mean one your daughter left a note on the neighbors car that said "learn how to ------- park". Think I made that up? Well then go look in your file cause it's physically there. You also mysteriously forgot to mention that everyone in our building attempted to say "hi" to you but never once did you acknowledge us. I even attempted it numerous times when I first moved in and you never responded to me either. Now I can see why you felt threatened because I was so rude that I wouldn't even try to speak to you. Secondly, it's humorous how you were so "irate" in the mornings and you couldn't sleep all night that you never called the courtesy patrol or the cops. Seems to me that if you couldn't sleep you would do something about it. Now for me making so much noise that you couldn't live it's amazing how no one else heard anything, and they all signed a petition saying so. As far as Sherry goes, at first she did believe you and even told me so.. but you obviously had no desire to fix the problem by continuously ignoring requests to meet that she had no choice but to not believe you. Sherry did everything a manager should and could do.. next time try a little proof. That goes a lot further than your false accusations. And FYI - haven't seen a scorpion yet.. but the rats underneath me are no longer a problem.

Wow, Anonymous. That's slightly harsh, isn't it? Go kill myself? You are ridiculous. However, I'm glad to know that neither myself or my mother were stupid enough to go upstairs to speak to you. Wishing death upon me could be showing the insanity within you. You know, serial killers are rather charming and have repressed violent tendencies. Sound familiar? I hope the good Lord All Mighty sees the things you say and is making note of them as I type these words. I didn't say anything to you that was wrong. Just the truth. I did not deny the things I did wrongly like leaving a note on the car of someone that had to park like an idiot next to the parking space for which I paid. Honestly though, I'd expect something if I parked like a jerk. Sir, wishing death upon another for merely stating facts that you used your charm to get out of with the management probably doesn't look good in the eyes of Jesus Christ or his Father especially when you consider this one of the The Ten Commandments: "Do not bear false witness against your neighbor". I pray for your soul and I'll personally ask God to forgive you. I may be a sinner, but at least I tell the truth. By the way, did you get your washer and/or dryer fixed? I'm still amazed how one of them (or both?) moved from one room to another as to be easily mistaken for a hidden roommate while you were at work...Perhaps your demons infected them? Peace, love and honesty...they will set you free...
