The office staff here is horrible. I have never dealt with such a nasty, condecending and sarcastic group of women in my life. They seem to actually enjoy creating problems and disrupting the lives of the residents.
When I first moved in,I told that water was included in the price of rent and to just ignore the monthly bills I got from the city of Phoenix. For whatever reason, this policy changed, and rather than inform me that my rent check was $4.25 short they held on to the check for a month and then sent me an evitiction notice. When I offered to pay the four dollar difference, they told me I had to pay a late fee of $10 a day for the entire month or they would call the police to kick me out!
When I went to complain, there was already another woman ahead of me. Her 90-year-old mother, who had lived there almost since it opened, had gotten the same eviction notice.
The worst part is that this manager seemed to actually enjoy making other people miserable.
This is just the tip of the iceburg. DO NOT move into this complex.

Yes, great place to live! I lived there for 2 years and got the hell out. Do not rent here!

It's the management, the staff. They seriously, should all be locked up at 24th Street & Van Buren...in the nut house! I don't know how anybody can stay there and feel at home!!

I am the manager and I have never met with this person that likes to be so nasty with the comments.Our water has never been free so I am sure she was never told that and our late charges are not $10.00 per day? The staff has to follow the policy of the owners of this company and their hands are tied when it comes to waiving any fees etc. For the people that say not to live at the Palisades we sure do have a lot of resident referrals so we cannot be all bad.If you cannot follow your lease and house rules than you should not be living here.We are not here to hold hands of residents that can not follow company policy. We try to make it a nice place to live for those who appreciate clean nice living.

Clean, nice living MY ASS! The Palisades is the GHETTO of apartment living. The staff is rude and petty about the "rules" they like to make. I personally think The Palisades should be made into an old-folk's living community, because trust me, you cant do ANYTHING while living in their cracker-jack boxes they call apartments. Your kids can't play, your tv can't be too loud, God forbid you like to go down to the pool and have a few drinks with some friends. THANK YOU TO THE PALISADES FOR TURNING ME OFF TOWARDS APARTMENT LIVING....I broke my lease and am now living in a house, and BECAUSE of The Palisades, I'll NEVER EVER live in an apartment again. Thanks, guys, and good luck fulfilling the remainder of my lease!!!

Anonymous 03/18/2009, you sound like a former neighbor I used to have. He always had his stereo or TV very loud, he and his friends brought beer bottles in the pool grounds in violation of the policy of bringing glass in the area and had loud all-night parties at his house, keeping me up in the middle of the night. I was so glad when I finally moved out and bought my own house. It sounds like you are very self-absorbed and possess no basic common courtesies.
