Lived here for a week so far

Well first off let me start out by saying I love my apartment! The pool is great and my landlord(s) are wonderful! I personally havent had a problem with bugs which is a major plus for me and the price for the size apartment is right on! I have seen the security gaurd here walking around frequently and gives a feel of the complex going on the right track. With that being said, I would say this place is a great place to live! On that note some of the tenants here feels it is ok to tell the kids go outside and play without any supervision what so ever and with kids having free range and no one watching them they like to get into mischief and have no regaurd what so ever about other people's property. I have children of my own and I know that it is important to know what your kids are doing at all times, that makes you a good parent and makes the other renters here feel more at ease knowing that you care what your kids are doing and not messing up other people's property such as drawing on patios with magic markers and getting things out of the garbage and laying it around the grounds because that makes the place look trashy! Another complaint that I have is the unattended children in the pool area. I know it is hot outside, but too many dangers can happen when a child is unattended at the pool. The rules are set into place for a reason and sending your 13 year old to the pool with your 3 year old that cant swim without floaties to watch him is not acceptable. Yes, I have witnessed this and there are many more kids just allowed in the pool with no supervision what so ever all under the age of 10. The property managers sit there 20 feet away in their office offering popsicles to the kids but never inforce the rules and that bugs me as well. They are getting paid to maintain the property and uphold the rules and if they are half doing this then it is time to find new property managers. One child gets hurt on the pool area and it gets shut down for the rest of us who follow the rules and the HOA will get sued for the child getting injured. Use your heads people is that few minutes of peace and quite enough to risk your childs life on' I want to live in a nice place and want my kids to feel safe here as well. And that so far is the only complaints that I have personally.
