Great "central" location & nicely kept complex

Unfortunately, too many disgruntled residents populate these info-boards and not enough satisfied residents bother to take the time to write a nice review...but I guess that's the old saying-everyone will complain, but no one will (take the time) to compliment.
The 'Papago' area backs up to a Golf Driving Range and has a 3.5-mile hiking/walking trail that is beautiful! Papago is an ideal location because it is just blocks from the 202, but far enough that you can't hear a single vehicle. It's also near both Tempe (ASU) and Scottsdale; Papago is located in the southeastern part of Phoenix. Yes, admitably, the homes adjacent to Papago Park Apartments are old and run down. However, there are rumours that the run down sections are being bought up by local government; this is evident four city blocks away where they are building a nice community opposite the (main) post office on 48th. Lastly, one of the things I like most about the Papago area in general is that it is so tucked-away that very few locals/Phoenicians even know it exists!
Bottom line- If you're looking for a well kept, gated community, with ammenities like a hot tub, swimming pool, golfing range and hiking trails, this is the ideal complex. Moreover, the complex is strategically located in that it's close to ASU & Scottsdale and just a few blocks' drive to the Post Office and the 202, you can't find a better 'deal' for the modest price...
