Two years ago I was happy living at Papago Park but then I became disenchanted. After a rainstorm my roof leaked and two weeks later after many visits to the office they said they fixed it but after the next storm it leaked again. Then they said it really was fixed but bedroom furniture and linens had been ruined. The neighbors moved and the new ones were really loud at all times and many complaints later nothing was done. It was hard to study and sleep. My parking spot was often used by someone else and nothing was done about it. Some residents made lewd comments when I walked by which was irrating. After deciding to move, I followed all the directions given to me when I moved in including the cleaning ones, but when I went to the office to ask for an inspection I was told that they automatically took $70 our for a cleaning fee and $50 for carpet cleaning. I don't mind the carpet cleaning fee, though other complexes don't charge it, but I did all the cleaning for nothing. No documents they ever gave me stated that the policy had changed and now there was a cleaning fee charged.When I told the office I had my things moved out and would be spending the last few days of the lease cleaning they never said not to bother. The office did nothing except give me a number of the management company. The person who is to call me back from there hasn't after a week and I call every day. The rent went up every six months but it wasn't worth it. What used to be a nice place to live isn't any more and moving out has not been pleasant. Beware.
