I lived at Paradise Lakes for 16 years in 3 different units. I got married and moved to a larger unit and was treated horribly after that. The water heater leaked many times and ruined our belongingings in the shed. The drawers in the kitchen were broken and not repaired. The microwave didn't work and was not repaired. The noise level was horrible. We had a rock musician living above us and he was never asked to leave, even though he played music in his livingroom studio until 4 AM! The pools were filthy, and the jacuzzi's didn't work. I was sexually molested by a maintenence man. Two maintenance people robbed me of 2 sapphire and diamond rings when they were repairing a flood under the bathroom sink. When I told the manager she said, You are accusing my staff of stealing' The manager refused to give me a reward of $150. when a friend of mine moved in at my recommendation. There were too many mangers to count! When I finally left the last unit, they trumped up $1200. in false charges and kept my deposits. They reported it to the credit bureau and ruined my credit, when I refused to pay the charges. I finally did have to pay the charges to clear up my credit, even though they were false! By then, we found out that Paradise Lakes had gone out of business 5 months after we left. When we tried to find them to press charges against them, we were unable to find them! It was a total nightmare. The place went from nice to shabby. They became slum lords! We foound a house to rent for only $90. a moth more than the apartment! Highway robbery at PL!

What a weirdo! Did you call the police regarding the "molestation by a staff member, or even the stolen jewelry?? My guess is no. I find it quite funny as well, that you put up with this utter turmoil and overall terrifying and , I would assume, life altering experience(due to the "sexual moloestation") that you manged to hang in there for 16 years! What a trooper and a survivor you are!! Kudos to you. FYI (for your information) in case you didn't know. Paradise Lakes did not go out of business, the previous company that owned it simply sold it to another owner. It is still called Paradise Lakes and is still in business. (If a company goes out of business, the name would not remain the same) I really think that you are just bitter because you owed money when you left and it is a shame that you chose here to personally attack people and to voice the dissatisfaction of owing money rather than taking some responsibility and own up to the fact that you probably trashed your apt. By the way. They can't charge you for something unless there are pictures. Also, I don't think that anyone with a legitimate complaint would have ever paid $1200, most people would have gone to court in a second! So grow up and please don't reproduce.

Duh! Are you out of your f--king mind? After six days I would have been gone. Why don't you sell your story to Ophra and let Dr. Phil help.
