I've lived at Paradise Lakes for almost 10 years and have always had good experiences. In the last year, the apartments were bought by Archstone-Smith and have seriously gone downhill.

Several weeks ago, a waterpipe broke in my laundry room and I had a waterfall coming out of the ceiling. I called the emergency no., which happens to be the same as the regular number and got an ans. machine that said to leave a message with the emergency "after hours" maintenance. I called numerous times, no came to fix the leak, needless to say, I had huge amounts of water damage so did several of my neighbors. Finially a next door neighbor came to fix the leak.

I went into the management office to complain that their "emergency maintenance" service was a joke and was told it was a cell phone malfunction.

It's been almost 3 weeks and no one has come to fix the drywall. I call almost everyday and get no response.

The main pool has been closed for over 2 weeks for a broken pump.

The bbq'a have gang graphiti on them and are all broken.

It's such a shame, it used to be such a nice place. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

I can completely sympathize with you! I have lived in these horrible apartments for 3 years and for those 3 years I have had a leak in my roof. Everytime they claim it is fixed. Finally this time they cut out a 6x4 foot hole in my ceiling to find...mold, big suprise. Getting the management to be accountable for anything is impossible. They act as if you are being unreasonable when you request for your HOME to be in living condition. I am hoping to leave quick and hope you can too! =)
