this place is full of low-lifes, tweakers and domestic-violence types. Some of the dirtbags here have been committing on-going acts of vandalism; graffiti, breaking stairwell lights and yardlamps, etc. this often goes unrepaired for months at a time. there are many dogowners who don't even pretend to have an interest in picking up after their pets. dog feces ofter litter the sidewalks.
it has a superficially aesthetic appeal to it with the fountains and pueblo-style architecture and is right on a greenbelt. Those are the reasons i ended up here.
Little did i know what this place is really like.
the construction of the 3rd story flooring is so bad that regular foosteps sound like banging to 2nd story tenants. you can hear (loudly) every step that even a small child or dog makes in the apt above you.
This place is a slum with decent landscaping.

I can relate to your complaints. I lived there too long with many issues. The biggest being mold in my ceiling. It still wasn't fixed after 1 1/2 years when I moved out. The management kept blaming on this or that and would occasionally claim it was fixed until it rained and my bedroom was wet again. My suggestion would be to get out when you can because it will not get better, only worse!
