not worth the money

Although my experience is not as awful as the others, the horrifying stories are very believable. I lived there a year(06-07). Honestly I shopped for apartments and Paradise really did offer the best quality for the price. Actual tile in the bathrooms, new carpet,washer/dryer/dishwasher,etc. HOWEVER. Almost everytime I was in the office I saw VERY unhappy tenants. I know management has changed for the most part and I must say the new is NOT professional. They boast about their weekend parties, of them getting trashed and then driving home all in front of the customers. Not too good of an impression for the company. The trash situation MUST improve. For each court area there are only two dumpsters and I think the trash only gets picked up once (maybe twice) a week. And that is embarrassing. Trash is overflowing adding a much degrative appearance to the complex. The walls are very thin as well as the air vents. I lived next door to someone who had cats and you would have thought I was the one that had cats. I don't know if the qualifications have changed to be eligible to live there but lately the people I see living there or loitering around are scary. Some of the so called handy man look like X prisoners. And when they did the installation of the new pipes they did next to nothing to accomodate you. Serious holes through out the apartment, living room, bathroom and kitchen. There is no way I could have stayed there while they were doing that. I don't know how those who had no choice did. So would I recommend this place to another' Only if I did not like them. But really what can you expect from apartments. The price of rent should be lower.I am thankful though, I was never an unhappy tenant in the office and I never had to request any electrical or water problems. The parking is ridiculous as well.
