Paradise palms is undergoing a remodeling of all apartments. they are letting people sign a lease, just to turn around to tell them they must move out. people who chose to stay at a substancial increase in rent, are told they must move by the last day of the month, even though the new apartment is not finished. i have lived in my new place for a week now and it is still not finished and i have seen no one here to finish it. i have an unpained door, no blinds on the bedroom window, a missing cabinet, no facing on the bar that faces the living room, my tub doesn't drain and is dripping, no hardware on the closet doors, no shelves in some cabinets, the list goes on! They wanted to charge me to stay in my old apartment until the new one was finished, even though i paid to stay in the new one from the first of the month. the olive trees aren't sprayed and are a mess, so are the date palms. the lights in the carport area, pool area, and apartment areas haven't worked for months. the outside look is very old and dreary. I love the neighbors, that is the only way i signed a new lease. I will get out of the lease if my apartment isn't finished by the end of the month.
