Paradise Trails

My husband and I moved to Paradise Trails shortly after we were married in September 2002. The staff impressed me from the moment I called for a tour. Shelby was pleasant and made me feel as though I was a priority for her. I am a property manager, myself. I find that this tends to give me a bit of a different opinion than others that visit this site. Not being able to understand legalities of our profession or general operations tend to result in grossly verbose and abusive commentaries when a single incident of displeasure occures.

At any rate, our time at Paradise Trails was wonderful. Our large one bedroom apartment had awesome closet space with a HUGE living room. Moving from a condo was not easy but, the floorplan layout was very spacious and pleasantly designed.

The lighting on this property rivals others, including the one I manage which is considerably newer. I would not hesitate to walk my dog at night because it was so well lit.

The maintenance staff was always very prompt to respond to requests and I did not ever have to call back for a second visit due to ill repair.

Unknown prior to calling or moving-in for that matter, a former leasing agent of mine lives in the community as well. This speaks volumes to me as we both could live at our own very nice properties but, choose to live elsewhere and give up our employee discount.

We did have a portion of our deposit forfeited due to carpet cleaning from our special needs dog (he can't walk without his doggy wheelchair). The amount deducted was fair. It is important to realize that apartments are LEASED, not OWNED. Consequently, we as renters are responsible for the condition that the apartment is returned. Deductions from deposits or month-to-month fees are necessary.

The community amenities: gym, business center, racquetball, pool are all very nice. While I did not use the facilities, many residents did on a regular basis and seemed to enjoy them very much.

The price is unbelievable for the location. Paradise Trails comes highly reccommended by myself and my husband. The only reason we moved is because I took over managing a new property in East Mesa and the 30 mile commute (one way) was just too much for me.
