I've lived @ Park Place for a full year now, & WILL NOT be renewing my lease. I should have broke the lease & moved out to begin with, but couldn't afford to. Within a week of moving in, the fridge stopped working. Management took one from an empty apartment & installed it in mine. It then stopped working after about 4 hours. They then made the same switch with another empty apartment, but left me with a semi-working, kool-aid stained nightmare I wouldnt keep dog food in. That was the first week...
Other horrors at this place:
Tweakers above me threw their unbagged trash on my back doorstep.
Tweakers everywhere actually cooking meth in their place. You can smell it daily.
On numerous occasions have found used needles & crack pipes in the parking lot. Have removed several people from grounds for drug offenses.
'Chiller' system (not actual a/c) broken down too many times to count. Constant 90 in the bedrooms almost year round. Was told by Management I was put on the list for ceiling fans, but never installed.
The entire complex is surrounded by the parking spaces, meaning if you have a ground floor apartment your backdoor opens to your car. Which doesnt sound too bad, until you're woken up @ 230am by a car flyin by your window @ 40mph bumping 'Gasolina'
NO ONE cleans up after their animals! Constantly finding dog/cat feces throughout the complex landscaping.
Its hot. I means its really friggin hot. I had to install a window ac unit to keep it under 90* in here.
A few good points:
The walls are actually pretty thick. You rarely hear your neighbor.

Totally accurate review. I've lived here for over a year & have gone through the exact same things. Management is a total joke! She comes in the office at around 10am & takes lunch at 1pm never to return. The maintenence staff quit over 3 months ago, knowing that the complex was to be demolished to make room for condos. The hot water has been shut off numerous times a week. The only reason the chiller system is actually working is because the complex is more than half empty! I dare anyone to walk through the parking lot & NOT get hit by a car. There are no speed limit signs anywhere, & people fly through at 40mph . The laundry room had a lock on it, but that was removed over a year ago. I've had countless items of clothing stolen right out of the dryer on several occasions. Management obviously does not care about what kind of people they rent to, as there are numerous police cars in the parking lot every weekend. I've talked with several other tenants around me & everyone agrees this is the worst apartment complex we've ever seen. Anyone who signs a new lease on this place after reading this review is out of their mind...
