Great floorplans, nice finish -- for a price

If you're looking for an apartment that feels more like a home, and is distinct from all the cookie-cutter complexes in Phoenix, then Pavilions on Central is a good place. But rent is pretty high -- definitely higher than you'll pay for the same amount of square footage at other places in town.
Location is perfect, if you like an urban setting. It's super close to downtown, but also adjacent to uptown central phoenix, which makes it convenient to shop, go to restaurants, etc.
There are a few things that sold me on this place: The tri-level (townhome style) floorplans, pergo hardwood flooring, and the attached garage. And, of course, the location. What's lacking' Bathrooms in every floorplan I've seen are a little small, and they did a lousy job painting the inside of these places (we were the first tenants in our apartment, and six months later the paint is already showing cracks and a lot of wear).
If you like what you see here, be sure to check out Andover Square at Osborn and 3rd Ave. It's owned by the same management company and has very similar floorplans. It's not quite as nice, but seems to be a bit cheaper in terms of rent.
One last note -- the staff here are only so-so. They don't seem quite as knowledgable and helpful as some other apartment community staffs I've delt with. That said, work orders get done quickly and accurately.
