The apartment itself was generally "okay," althoughy noisy, and the service/maintenance staff was generally attentive to service needs. The office staff has a lot of attitude-- very friendly when you move in but not so much when you have any type of need. No effort whatsoever to get to know you, even when you deal with the same person time and again.
Make sure you stay on top of your lease... they won't send you any notice when it's coming to an end and this can result in extra charges, as it did for me. The manager apparently has no discertion in financial matters and being a good tenant has no significance.
This really isn't a gated community. Yes, there are gates, but they're open all day on weekdays and on holidays that fall on weekdays. The gates are closed only at night and on weekends. And the gate code was changed only once during the 20 months I lived there. So, if you think that "gated community" means added security, think again.
Make sure on signing that you understand what you're responsible for on move-out, otherwise you'll end up with substantial extra charges. Along with threatening tactics to coerce you into not questioning these extra charges.
Be aware of what you're getting into. I wouldn't move in again and can't recommend the place to anyone.
